Testing · Reconditioning · Coding
We test and recondition common rail injectors from Bosch, Denso, Delphi and Siemens — solenoid as well as piezo — on our KOMTEST CRI 1400. We measure at several test points across the whole operating range, and you get measured data for every single injector, so you know what you are fitting.
How it works
Follow the process from the injectors arriving to the report in your hand.

Types we work with
If you are unsure what is fitted, compare with the photos — or call with the engine code.
A common rail injector is the most heavily loaded component in the entire engine. It opens and closes up to 2,000 times a minute at a pressure of 1,800–2,500 bar — the equivalent of a car’s weight resting on an area the size of a fingernail. And it does so in fuel that has to lubricate it at the same time.
The deterioration is gradual and invisible. The vehicle does not lose power overnight — it just runs a little harsher, smokes a little more and drinks a little extra, over tens of thousands of kilometres.
That is why it is almost always wear, not failure. An injector that has covered 250,000 km is not destroyed — it is worn, and that can be put right.
Four injectors that "look fine" can easily be the cause of a rough idle and heavy smoke. Conversely, many perfectly usable injectors get replaced because nobody measured them.
On our KOMTEST CRI 1400 we measure every injector at several test points:
The result is a sheet of numbers, not an opinion. If the injector is good, we say so and send it back.
When an injector is reconditioned or replaced, its individual code (IMA at Bosch, classification code at Delphi and Denso) must be programmed into the engine management so that injection timing, quantity and pressure are matched to each cylinder. Skip it and you get rough running, increased smoke, higher consumption — and engine damage over time.
On newer vehicles an adaptation run is also required after fitting, so the ECU learns the new values. We carry out both when the vehicle is with us.
| Type | Makes |
|---|---|
| Common rail solenoid (CRI/CRIN) | Bosch, Delphi, Denso |
| Common rail piezo | Bosch, Siemens/Continental, Denso |
| Unit injectors (PDE/UI) | VW/Audi group and others |
Cars, vans, trucks, construction and agricultural machinery, and marine.
We cannot test the oldest mechanical injectors — our equipment is built for modern common rail systems. If you are unsure what you have, call with the engine code before driving out here.
Prices are indicative and depend on the model. You always get a fixed quote before we start.
Possibly — but have them measured first. We test your own injectors and tell you what is actually wrong. It happens regularly that only one of four is faulty, or that the problem was never in the injectors at all. A test costs DKK 250 per injector and can save you many thousands.
DKK 250 per injector incl. VAT, equal to DKK 200 excl. VAT. You get a written report with measured data for each one — including those that turn out to be fine. A set of four therefore costs DKK 1,000, and then you know exactly where you stand.
Typically about half the price of a new original injector. The exact price depends on the model — call with the part number or engine code and we will tell you straight away.
If we have reconditioned injectors for your engine in stock, you can collect them the same day. Reconditioning your own injectors normally takes 2–4 working days.
Yes. We receive injectors from all over Denmark and, by arrangement, from abroad. Call or write first and we will agree the practicalities.
Yes, on virtually every modern diesel engine. Each injector has its own code — IMA at Bosch, classification code at Delphi and Denso — that must be written into the engine management. Skip it and you get rough running, more smoke, higher consumption and damage over time. On newer vehicles an adaptation run is also needed afterwards. We do both if the vehicle is with us.
Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Siemens/Continental — both solenoid and piezo injectors, common rail and unit injectors (PDE). We take cars, vans, trucks, construction and agricultural machinery, and marine.
Our test equipment is built for modern common rail systems, so we cannot measure the oldest mechanical injectors. If you are unsure what you have, call with the engine code or part number — we will tell you straight away rather than have you make a wasted trip.
Yes, 6 months warranty. The test report with the measured data always comes with it.

Really kind and helpful, can definitely be recommended. Had diesel injectors reconditioned and bought new ones … (translated from Danish)
… a very professional workshop run by father and son. The communication is clear and precise. The service is first class and the prices are honest. (translated from Danish)
Very good service. They know what they are dealing with, and they were quick. I will gladly come back. (translated from Danish)
